The Gambia Hotel Association (GHA) had a productive meeting at Sunset Beach Hotel with Ms. Haddijatou Lamin Njie, Global Shield Consultant, to discuss the urgent need for financial protection against climate-related risks, particularly for the tourism industry and key stakeholders in The Gambia.
Since 1978, the Gambia Hotel Association (GHA) has been the voice of Gambian hotels, working with key stakeholders to enhance the industry’s prosperity through strong member representation and engagement, effective government advocacy, and the provision of value added programs and services. Representing the major hotels through its membership network of 45 hotels, motels, and resorts, GHA continues to strive to affect change, unify the sector, and provide a single national focal point for action.
